Kuruksetra, this restaurant presents a charming setting that is both clean and spacious—an inviting spot for locals and travelers seeking an immersive culinary experience beyond the typical tourist trail.

The highlight here is undoubtedly the Nasi Campur Bali, a masterful blend of flavors and textures that balances traditional Balinese spices with Chinese culinary influences. Dishes like the Nasi Babi Guling and Sate Babi stand out for their rich, well-seasoned pork preparations, while elements such as fried pork balls and fermented pork wrapped in leaves introduce tangy, complex notes that elevate the meal. Complementing the rice are spicy sambals, including sambal matah and mbe, which add a fresh, vibrant kick without overwhelming the palate. The modest portion sizes focus on quality over quantity, perfect for those who appreciate nuanced tastes.

This Balinese dish near Nusa Dua is one of the best I've ever had. It's super affordable, but the flavors and textures are amazing. The spicy sambals (sambal matah and mbe) really take it to the next level. And for the price, you get a pretty generous portion.

Omg their nasi campur surpassed all the rice dishes I’ve ever tried in Bali!! So so delicious and flavourful with a good spicy kick! I highly recommend trying their rice if you stay in Nusa Dua area. Seporsi kena charge 20ribu.

It’s my favorite nasi campur so far. Comment: very local, pricing very reasonable, place is clean and spacious, friendly and quick service, food is excellent. The ingredients include fried pork ball and a steam/ferment pork in leaves which gives a tangy taste are the highlights, together with the meta which is the onions. It can be spicy but easier avoid once you know which ingredient to stay away after tasting. Overall, this is underrated and not tourist spot, but not sure for how long….

It's located in a banjar hall, therefore the name is nasi banjar. The place is super clean, and they serve a delicious nasi campur. The portion is not so big, the selections are also not so many, but they are good. It's a mixed between chinese and balinese culinary, so they serve baso babi, which is super good. The food here reminds me of chinese home cook meal + balinese touch. Very value for money too!

Super enak! Been going here for 14 years, and they never disappoint. A true representation of what Balinese cuisine is and should aspire too. If you are looking for legit Balinese cuisine, stop in and order a plate.

We got recommendation for this nasi banjar from our friend. The portion is not really big, but tasty. We were arrived at lunch time, so quite busy. We have to wait until they serve our meals. 1 portion is 25k.

If you see this small food place in Google, congratulations. You just found the most authentic food gem around this area. It’s very well known among the locals and has been my personal favorite since 2010. They only have one food menu there and honestly, they only need one. 1000/10 would recommend.
